Privacy Policy

We do not run contact forms, signup forms, comment threads, or any other input that would ask you to share personal information with us. We do not use cookies. We do not run advertising or behavioral retargeting. We do not sell or share visitor data with marketing partners.

If at any point we add a feature that collects information directly from you (for example, an email signup), we will update this policy and disclose what is collected and how it is used before the feature goes live.

We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages on the Website are visited and how visitors arrive. Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information. Plausible processes visitor data in aggregate and does not track individuals across websites.

For each page view, Plausible records the page URL, the referring site (such as “google.com” or “twitter.com”), the visitor’s approximate country, browser type, and operating system. Visitor IP addresses are used to derive country information and are not stored.

In addition to standard page views, we record three custom events related to the disclaimer notice that appears on first visit:

• when the disclaimer is shown
• when a visitor accepts the disclaimer
• when a visitor declines the disclaimer

These events are tagged with the landing page path and any UTM campaign parameters present in the URL (for example, utm_source=email). They do not include any information that could identify an individual visitor.

When you accept the disclaimer notice, the Website stores a single value in your browser’s local storage: today’s date. This is used to avoid showing the disclaimer to you again on the same day. The value is stored only on your device, is not transmitted to us, and contains no personal information. You can clear it at any time through your browser’s settings or developer tools.

The Website loads two resources from third parties:

Plausible Analytics — a script served from plausible.io that records the analytics events described above.

Google Fonts — typefaces served from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. When your browser loads a page on the Website, it requests these font files directly from Google. Google receives your IP address and basic browser information as part of this request. We are working to self-host these fonts in a future update so that this third-party request is no longer necessary. In the meantime, Google’s handling of font requests is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

The Website is hosted on Vercel. Like all web hosting providers, Vercel maintains operational logs of HTTP requests, including the date and time of each request, the requested URL, the visitor’s IP address, and the visitor’s browser type. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics. We do not access these logs to track individual visitors or build profiles of users.

If you are a stockholder of Medallion Financial Corp. and you submit a proxy in connection with our solicitation, your name and the number of shares you hold may appear in records filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as required by federal proxy rules. You can limit the data collected by visiting the Website with:

• a browser configured to block third-party scripts (this will block Plausible)
• a browser configured to block third-party font requests (this will block Google Fonts)
• private browsing or incognito mode (which prevents local storage from persisting between sessions)

The Website remains fully functional with these settings.

The Website is intended for adult investors and the general public. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page indicates when the most recent version took effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
